Roles and Responsibility

 Responsibilities:

·        The Pre-Sales Consultant is responsible for providing presales technical support to the Sales team and presenting tailored demonstrations or qualification discussions to customers and/or prospects.

·        The Pre-Sales Consultant also assists the Sales Team with qualifying opportunities and helping expand existing opportunities.

·        The Pre-Sales Consultant will be responsible on conducting Technical Proof of Concept, Demonstration & Presentation on the supported products & solutions.

·        The Pre-Sales Consultant will also work closely with the Sales team to close deals, supporting the team through the full sales process of solutions engineering and presentation, standard and/or customised solutions demonstration, customer workshop, development of proposals and costings (e.g RFP tender submission), and work with the sales team to address RFI/RFP-related queries from customers. In addition, he/she will act as a consultant to the delivery team for development and deployment of solutions so as to ensure smooth transition from post-sales implementation to Go-live stage.

·        Participate and speak in conferences, shows, exhibitions when appropriate and requested

·        Recommend and influence market content

·        Perform other related duties as assigned

 

Key Skills and Experience:

·        Proven experience in assisting Sales/Account Managers with qualification of opportunities by providing pre-sales technical support

·        Proven experience in providing pre-sales technical support, proposal and costing preparation, and deliver product demonstrations/solutions presentation to the customers/business partners

·        Possess relevant pre-sales experience in Internet-of-Things (IoT) and Digitalisation projects that were successfully operationalised in the Banking, Healthcare and/or Government sectors

·        Contribute to and refine technical RFP/RFI responses

·        Proven experience in coordinating and managing technical validation events (e.g. POC/POV projects)

·        Proven experience to drive workshop with customer during pre-sales and in-project stages

·        Proven experience to design and review solutions architecture

·        Able to work collaboratively and productively with team

·        Able to manage ambiguity, yet producing tangible results

·        Able to effectively manage challenging situations without loss of focus when under pressure

 

Technical and Professional Expertise:

·        At least 5+ years of relevant industry experience in pre-sales IT/Digitalisation consultancy

·        Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline

·        Knowledge of various software technologies and Agile/Scrum methodologies

·        Manage critical client impacting events related to solution and engage with delivery, transition etc
